Week in Review

I don’t know why, but four-day work weeks always seem longer to me than five-day weeks in my corporate job.  I think it’s because me and everyone around me are all trying to get five days of work done in four days.

This week was mostly quite productive.  In addition to all the work I did at my corporate job, I’ve gotten a lot of marketing work done for my business which is great.  I went to a class on networking where I learned a lot and met some potential business contacts. I did a little bit of work on both my office and my e-course.  I fell down on the exercise though and only exercised twice.  It was less of a time issue than an energy issue; I really need to think about how to motivate myself to get started with the exercise even if I feel really tired.

I also got lots of great play time in this weekend, as I spent the day at the Puallyup Fair with two friends and had a blast!  Other than exercise, I was also good about self-care this week, as I got plenty of sleep and took lovely little bits of time for myself, even though I was also quite busy.

On Monday, my new netbook comes. I’m looking forward to having the chance to do more of my work on the go, as I think it will make me more productive.
